Webcam Fun

This is not a very good picture but Reagan was excited to take a picture of grandma and grandpa on the webcam. The kids have had fun getting to talk to grandma and grandpa on the computer. They fight over whose face gets to be right in the screen (because they want to see themselves).
We talked to them this afternoon and Reagan wanted to get a picture of grandma on her birthday! Happy Birthday Grandma!

Best Friend Reject

Okay, any of you that know Reagan knows how attached she is to her papa (my dad). Here is a story I couldn't resist to share. Reagan and Trevor went to the ball park with their granny and papa last night. When it was time to go they got a treat from papa. Reagan had two starbursts and wouldn't share one with her brother. Papa told her that if she didn't share she wouldn't get a treat next time, well that did it... I pulled off with both of them bawling and screaming and here is how the personal conversation of Reagan went on the way home.

"Papa is not my best friend anymore, now I don't have a best friend.
Who will be my best friend, it's not papa. Maybe Granny will be my
best friend. I will never be his best friend again. Papa is still my friend,
but not my best friend...."

and so on you get the drift. I had to call my dad to tell him, my mom informed me this morning that it really bothered him all night that he wasn't number 1. Don't worry it's all over now, I think they are best friends again. I have one word- SPOILED!

Being a Mom

What can I say about being a mom? I LOVE IT! I am so grateful that I am a mommy. I can't imagine my life without my 3 children. They bring so much joy to me each day. I am so grateful that I get to stay home with them and enjoy all of the little things they do. I love sitting at home playing games, coloring, and taking care of my children. Even the days that I clean up 3 meals off of the ground, change a countless amount of diapers, referee, spend all day doing laundry, dishes, and cleaning, and listen to bawling and whining, at the end of they day I still thank my Heavenly Father for chosing me to watch over three of his most special spirits. It makes it all worth it when at the end of the day we sit as a family read books, say our prayers and I get a hug and kiss goodnight and they tell me they love me. That always makes me feel like we can do it all again tomorrow!

A couple of cute things from the passed weeks:
I was able to go with Reagan on her feild trip for preschool. While we were there she was holding my hand and looked up and me and said, "mom I am so glad that just me and you are having a special day today". So was I.
We were out for a walk tonight and Reagan found a dandelion to blow. I told her to make a wish before she blew it. A few minutes later she whispers to it "I wished I could go to granny and papa's everyday"
Justins parents left on there mission a couple of weeks ago. So at night when Reagan prays she will say, "Please bless that Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Lynn will drive home safe." ( I don't thing she knows how long 2 years is) But I am sure they will drive home safe on their mission)

Trevor has been learing to say his prayers so you tell him what to say and he will say the last word that you said. At the end of the prayer he never misses the AMEN.
I was tickleing his back the other night and singing him a song and he was humming along, it was so sweet!
He no longer likes to be the kid that gets left behind. If someone is leaving our house he has his shoes on and is ready to "do, do" with them!
Trevor took his first adventure on his own the other day. I noticed it was quite so I went to look for him. Well he was out the door and down the road knocking on our neighbors front door. I need taller locks!

Travis is learning to crawl. He gets up on his hands and feet then he hops across the floor. It is so cute.
He also loves to be talked to. When you talk to him his eyes light up, he giggles and grins with his cute baby fat dimple cheeks!

I am also greatful for my mom and all of the other moms around me that have influenced my life. My mom is such a great person. I am so glad that she chose me to be her daughter.

Grandpa & Grandma's Farewell

Sunday was Lynn and Sharon's farewell. We had fun this weekend spending time with them before they left. Saturday we had lunch and went swimming. Reagan decided she wanted to go with grandma and grandpa to do some errands, that was fun for her. Sunday we went to sacrament and listen to their talks, then we had a luncheon. After the luncheon Lynn and Sharon had a few things to do and of course since my kids' middles names are "go" they wanted to join them. Reagan and Trevor will miss going to grandma and grandpa's house for the next 2 years. But we will enjoy going to visit them on their mission. (And Reagan wants to webcam them everyday) They are going to the West Indies mission . We are excited for them and hope they have a great experience.

Tooth Tales

Yesterday we discovered that Travis' first tooth came in. (This is the best picture I could get without his tounge in the way) Reagan was so excited. She said "oh mom, how cute its a tiny baby tooth" I assured her that it would grow bigger. This morning she was excited to feed him his baby cereal because he could chew it with his freshly grown tooth. During breakfast we were talking about how she would lose her teeth and grow in her adult teeth in a few years. She responded with this "when I lose my little teeth I will grow in my capitol teeth" Obviously we have been practicing our letters! Kids say the cutest things!
